APJBC fully embraced Badminton4Macmillan Week 21-27 November 2016. At each session during the week there were cakes and fun competitions.
The highlights were:
- Persuading all the adult players in the Sports Hall to join in together for a 2 hour matchplay session, rather than just playing with the same old players each week
- Staff v Students
- Parent/Child doubles tournament – 32 pairs entered and the competition was won by Wei and John Zhen (just 10 years old) beating Faye and Matthew Riley in the final
- Raising over £2k for McMillan bringing our total to a massive £7538 in 2 years and being the leading fundraising club in England for the second year running
